Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (BCCSP) Advisory Board Member Vacancy Announcement

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) Women’s Wellness Connection (WWC) program has one vacancy on their BCCSP advisory board.

The mission of WWC is to promote and improve equity in breast and cervical cancer screening and early detection in Colorado.

The purpose of the BCCSP Advisory Board is to recommend guidelines for the services of the program and such rules and regulations as may be necessary to provide breast and cervical cancer screening where it is not otherwise readily available for reasons of cost or distance to suitable medical facilities purposes.

The application is due at the end of day February 28, 2022.

Visit for the application and for more information about the BCCSP Advisory Board.

Please help CDPHE recruit Advisory Board members with a diversity of backgrounds by sharing this announcement broadly with your networks.

Members of the Advisory Board serve without compensation but transportation and travel costs are reimbursed.

Employees of WWC-funded organizations are generally not eligible to serve on the Advisory Board due to a potential conflict of interest. Please contact Emily Kinsella at if you have any questions.
