Two Exciting Federal Funding Opportunities for Broadband and Telehealth!

Recently the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced two exciting funding opportunities which will have applications open very soon.

The first, the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB), will open applications in the coming weeks. The EBB Program was created to help households struggling to pay for internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic. It allows eligible households to receive a discount from their providers on broadband Internet services and associated equipment rentals of up to $50 per month, or for eligible households on tribal lands, up to $75 per month. The FCC also announced the application window for Round 2 of the COVID-19 Telehealth Program will open on April 29, and closes on May 6, 2021. Over $249 million will be available through the second grant funding cycle for reimbursement for telecommunications services, information services, and connected devices necessary for telehealth programs. Applicants are encouraged to review the application guidance available on the COVID-19 Telehealth Program webpage .
