Specialized Prenatal and Early Childhood Co- Enrollment Project Coordinator (Public Health Program Coordinator)

The Specialized Prenatal and Early Childhood Co-Enrollment Project Coordinator (Public Health Coordinator) will be a member of the Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Chronic Disease Prevention Program within the Community Health Promotion Division. Under minimal supervision, this position develops and executes the Specialized Prenatal and Early Childhood Co-Enrollment project (Specialized Co-Enrollment). This will be accomplished through collaboration with leaders: across sectors (public health, health care, human services and infant mental health) and internal to Denver Health (senior, management, frontlines, clinical). This position will be responsible for influencing a complex set of processes, policies, and systems that comprise applying for and fully participating in income eligible programs and services. This position will orchestrate systems improvement to allow for low income, Denver families during pregnancy and early childhood to leverage economic and food security programs (such as WIC, SNAP, EITC and others) to improve their health and well-being. This position is grant funded by the Denver Health Foundation for one year.
