Virtual Community Conversation on COVID-19 and heart disease and stroke on Thursday

Join us this Thursday, April 16, for a virtual community conversation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) and its impact on heart disease and stroke. The American Heart Association is working on a local and national level to reduce the impact of the coronavirus for those who may be at the highest risk. We’ll hear how the organization is leading in the Colorado community and across the nation, as well as from medical experts about their experiences with COVID-19 and cardiovascular disease and stroke.

The hour-long conversation begins at 3:30 p.m. Panelists include:
  • Dr. Peter Buttrick, Division Head, Cardiology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine
  • Debbie Hornor, Senior Vice President of Health Strategies for the American Heart Association
  • Dr. Terri Richardson, Internist at Kaiser Permanente, and Vice-Chair of the Colorado Black Health Collaborative
  • Sara Schueneman, Senior Vice President of Colorado for the American Heart Association
Please RSVP to Lyndsey Albright via email at Lyndsey.Albright@heart.org for Zoom login details.
