Reduce Hunger for Kids in Denver

Do you want to help reduce hunger for kids in Denver? Do you want to help Denver kids eat healthier foods? This past fall, Denver residents voted to pass Ordinance 302, which uses sales and use taxes to provide healthy food and healthy food education for Denver kids, especially kids in low-income families. To accomplish this, the city of Denver is currently searching for people in Denver to join the Healthy Foods for Kids Commission. Using the funds received, the commission will make grants, review applications and distribute funds to organizations in Denver reducing hunger for kids in Denver.
