CDPHE Job Opening: Tobacco Cessation Specialist

The Tobacco Cessation Specialist position serves as a subject matter expert in tobacco cessation and health systems change related to youth and adult tobacco cessation. The position identifies and implements interventions for the tobacco cessation and chronic disease 2020 Strategic Plan Goals and monitors outcomes including surveillance data, grantee program reports and staff insights to determine progress on goals and opportunities to implement programmatic changes based on these inputs. This position provides expertise for public health programs addressing tobacco cessation and relapse prevention, community-clinical linkages, health systems interventions and tobacco cessation benefit coverage expansion and access strategies. This role is housed in the State Tobacco Education and Prevention Program (STEPP) in the Prevention Services Division at CDPHE.
