The Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment recently launched a digital public awareness campaign to help women recognize symptoms of pregnancy-related depression and anxiety and encourage them to seek help. Three community partners across Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas and Larimer counties piloted the campaign from October 2016-January 2017. Two additional communities will come on board later in 2017. Free resources are available to all interested communities and partners include:
- Campaign kick-off webinar
- Comprehensive community partner toolkit for local community implementation
- Colorado-specific resources for new and expectant mothers
- Press Release from the state health department
Partner organizations and individuals are encouraged to ask pregnant women and new moms to seek free help (in Spanish and English) by calling 1-800-944-4773 or visit http://www.postpartum. net/colorado.
