Kaiser announces RFPs for HEAL Cities and Towns Campaign

Grant Period:  September 1, 2017- August 31, 2020

    Kaiser Permanente is excited to announce the release of a request for proposals (RFP) to implement the Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) Cities and Towns Campaign in Colorado. The HEAL Cities and Towns Campaign provides training and technical assistance to help municipal officials adopt policies that improve access to healthy eating and active living in their communities. We plan to invest up to $495,000 over three (3) years to support one grantee.The goal of this grantfunding is to increase the impact of the HEAL Cities and Towns Campaign in Colorado. Over the three (3) year grant period, the successful grantee will collaborate with the current HEAL cities and towns partner, identified as the Colorado Municipal League, to provide technical assistance to cities and towns in Colorado.  
    The applying organization must be a Colorado 501(c)(3). To be considered for funding, organizations must also meet specific eligibility criteria outlined in the RFP.

The funding opportunity is currently released on the open funding opportunities page of our website (kp.org/share/co). We will hold a webinar on Friday, January 13, 2:00 p.m. MT. Instructions on how to register for the webinar are included in the RFP.
