The Colorado Trust invites you to attend its second Health Equity Learning Series presentation for 2016-17, featuring Rachel Hardeman, PhD, MPH of Partners in Equity and Inclusion in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Hardeman's presentation will focus on racism in public health and health care. Dr. Hardeman is an assistant professor in the Division of Health Policy and Management at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. She is passionate about advancing the conversation around racism in public health. The overarching goal of Dr. Hardeman’s work is to contribute to a new body of knowledge that enriches how we understand the ways that institutional and/or systemic racism plays out in health care encounters. She is also a consultant with Partners in Equity and Inclusion, where their mission is to use their expertise as diversity scientists to help organizations and groups achieve true inclusion, diversity and equity.
