El Paso County Public Health has an opening for a Behavioral Health Specialist. This person will be responsible for integrating behavioral health into El Paso County Public Health services, as well as enhance the “whole person” health care perspective that are offered to the community. Job requirements include a Master’s degree in a behavioral health discipline, and a current license in the state of Colorado. Additionally, the Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) credential and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are preferred. The position will offer assessments, treatment and referrals for clients of El Paso County Public Health and provide consultation to El Paso County Public Health practitioners, community collaborations and assist with raising awareness of community resources.
