Diabetes distress (DD) refers to the often hidden emotional burdens, stresses, and worries that are part of managing a demanding, progressive, chronic disease like diabetes. DD is a critical, yet often neglected component of comprehensive diabetes care.Please join the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine and the Metro Community Provider Network as they discuss evidence-based approaches to intervention for DD in primary care settings and share lessons learned in the EPiC-4DM Project.
