Jeffco Health has two new job openings

Jefferson County Public Health has openings for a Built Environment Coordinator and a Food Systems Coordinator. You may apply from Aug. 2 through Aug. 16 at Jefferson County.

Built Environment Coordinator
Perform project management, technical and professional work to satisfy the deliverables of the Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, and Pulmonary Disease (CCPD) grant related to increasing physical activity through the built environment. Provide guidance on incorporating health into the development and revision of community plans, regulations and other land use policies to reduce health disparities. Provide a myriad of coalition-related responsibilities to support a multi sector regional active living coalition.

Food Systems Coordinator
Perform project management, technical and professional work to satisfy the deliverables of the Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, and Pulmonary Disease (CCPD) grant related to increasing access to healthy food. Support the Jefferson County Food Policy Council to develop a strong, coordinated vision for a regional food system that ensures equitable access to healthy affordable food, a strong regional economy and the reduction of food insecurity.
