The Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) are conducting a survey to learn about your bicycling and walking activity; bicycling- and walking-related expenditures; and opinions regarding the accessibility of bicycling and walking in your community. As a supporter of Active Living and a Healthy Built Environment, your opinion regarding these topics is extremely important. By completing their survey, you will give the state valuable information they can use to promote and improve bicycling and walking in Colorado. The findings will be presented in a statewide economic impact study that will be publicly accessible in fall 2016.
The study will provide statewide estimates of bicycling and walking rates and a calculation of the economic and health impacts of bicycling and walking in Colorado. In addition, the study offers Colorado residents an opportunity to rate their satisfaction with bicycling and walking infrastructure and bike accessibility in their community. In order to produce these estimates, this online household survey is open to any Colorado resident. Please share this with others who you think might be interested.
