State and local health departments recruiting focus groups for HPV campaign

Denver Public Health, Tri-County Health Department and Jefferson County Health Department are partnering to conduct focus groups in April with parents of children ages 10 - 15 to learn about attitudes toward HPV vaccinations and test messaging and advertising creative. This information will assist in our upcoming HPV awareness campaign.

Your help in recruiting participants will greatly support full representation of our community in this effort. Flyers and social media graphics are available for you to distribute via your communication networks. The more direct invites we have, the more likely people will be to join.


WHO: Caucasian, African American and Hispanic parents of children ages 10 – 15

Willing to talk about HPV and adolescent cancer prevention

WHERE: Denver County, Tri-County, Jefferson County

WHEN: Specific April dates included in recruitment materials

WHAT: Participants receive one (1) $100 cash incentive, and dinner
