Take it. Share It. Step Out. ADA Alert day is March 22nd

The American Diabetes Association Alert Day is on Tuesday, March 22nd. Alert Day is a call to action, asking the American public to take the Diabetes Risk Test to find out if they are at risk for developing Type 2 diabetes.

More than a quarter of people with diabetes (8.1 million) don’t know they have it.

The Diabetes Risk Test assess individual’s risk for prediabetes or type 2 diabetes by asking a series of simple questions about family history, weight, and other diabetes risk factors. Preventive tips are provided for everyone who takes the test, including encouraging those at high risk to talk with their health care provider, eat more healthfully and get active.
