National Wear Red Day is Friday, February 5

Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year—but we can change that because 80 percent of cardiac events can be prevented with education and lifestyle changes. Join us and be a part of the movement that is making a difference in the health of women in your community.

Here are a few ways you can join our efforts!
  • Join the Go Red For Women movement by celebrating on National Wear Red Day! Wear your favorite RED outfit and invite others to do the same. Take photos and share on social media to encourage others to learn more about women’s heart health.
  • Sign up your business to “Go Red”! Receive a toolkit with resources and materials to assist in your organization’s support of the campaign. (Example toolkit includes – Red balloons, red dress pins, red light bulbs etc.)
  • Encourage your customers to support the cause along with you by providing an external promotion to customers. Example – 5% discount for customers that wear red while shopping.
  • Encourage your employees to support the cause along with you by providing an internal promotion to employees. Example: Employees can donate $5 to wear jeans to work on Friday.
  • Give back to the cause in a meaningful way. Example: A portion of all proceeds on Friday February 5th will be donated to the Go Red For Women campaign in Denver.
