Health Equity Learning Series

The Colorado Trust Health Equity Learning Series features Professor John A. Powell in September. He will speak about the history of race, racism and power in the United States, and how it relates to health equity and health care. Professor Powell is Director of the Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society (Haas Institute) and Robert D. Haas Chancellor’s Chair in Equity and Inclusion at the University of California, Berkeley. He led the development of an “opportunity-based” model that connects affordable housing to racialized spaces in education, health, health care and employment.
