Early Childhood Colorado Framework Update Project: Stakeholder Engagement Opportunities

The draft vision for Colorado’s comprehensive early childhood system is ready for review. The Early Childhood Colorado Framework is intended to encompass the maternal through age 8 time frame and be inclusive of all that is required to ensure young children are valued, healthy and thriving. Input will be gathered at a series of regional meetings.

The Early Childhood Colorado Framework  was developed in 2008 as a guide for comprehensive early childhood systems work in Colorado. Since its release, state and local early childhood stakeholders have used the Framework to help identify needs, guide planning and decision making, and build partnerships. With Colorado’s recent investments in and commitments to early childhood, the Early Childhood Leadership Commission is supporting a thoughtful review and update of the Framework.
