Up to $425,000 available for afterschool programs

The Denver Office of Children Affairs announced that there will be funding opportunities for after school programs.  Applications will be accepted from non-profits and city agencies. Programs must be offered in the City and County of Denver at low or no cost to families in the following program areas: comprehensive, social-emotional learning, sports/recreation, and arts/culture.

General information about the Healthy Lifestyles for Youth RFP will be provided at an optional information session to be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver Program Support Center. Questions should be submitted in writing to 2ARFPSubmissions@denvergov.org by Thursday, March 19, 2015. Questions received via email and at the information session will be posted on-line by Noon on April 2, 2015 at www.denvergov.org/childrensaffairs. A required letter of intent to apply is due by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015.
