Up to $425,000 available for afterschool programs

The Denver Office of Children Affairs announced that there will be funding opportunities for after school programs.  Applications will be accepted from non-profits and city agencies. Programs must be offered in the City and County of Denver at low or no cost to families in the following program areas: comprehensive, social-emotional learning, sports/recreation, and arts/culture.

General information about the Healthy Lifestyles for Youth RFP will be provided at an optional information session to be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver Program Support Center. Questions should be submitted in writing to by Thursday, March 19, 2015. Questions received via email and at the information session will be posted on-line by Noon on April 2, 2015 at A required letter of intent to apply is due by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015.
