State health releases Farm to School Report

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment releases a Farm to School Report today that assesses the economic and health impacts of farm to school programs and reviews financial support of such programs by several state governments.

Across the nation, state governments, school districts and farmers are collaborating on farm to school programs in an effort to reduce diet-related disease and improve student health. Colorado's Farm to School Task Force has led the state's efforts.
