State Health hiring communications manager for Prevention Services Division

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has a position open for a Communications Unit Manager - 01242 - GP V. This position exercises authority over the full range of business communications and marketing functions for the Prevention Services Division, managing contracts related to division, providing specialized expertise in communications and marketing, working with program staff to determine and meet ongoing communications and marketing plan/strategy needs, providing selected graphic design and layout services, and designing and implementing special projects related to communications.

The position executes strategic marketing initiatives to educate, inform and engage partner agencies, public and media regarding Division programs and services. This position will help manage CDPHE brand identity, and design and develop Division program content and graphics.  This position partners with other divisions, statewide partners and state agencies to execute targeted messaging and media tactics, ensuring consistency of messages across the state.
