New Tobacco and Well Body resources for Health Care Professionals

The Behavioral Health and Wellness Program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine has released new priority population supplements for the DIMENSIONS: Tobacco Free and Well Body Toolkits for Healthcare Providers. Supplements for Young Adult and Low-Income priority populations have been published in addition to the previously published full toolkits and Behavioral Health supplements. The supplements provide a deeper look at the specific needs and wellness barriers faced by priority populations, and are designed to be used in concert with the full toolkits, which contain education and evidence-based strategies for counseling patients on tobacco cessation and weight management. These materials are available in both English and Spanish and are designed to be used by direct providers as well as healthcare administrators, public health professionals, and healthcare organizations.
