Boys & Girls Club members thank CVS for not selling tobacco

The news that CVS Caremark has vowed to stop selling tobacco products made a lot of the Health and Life Skills staff at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver very happy! There are youth led SWAT (students working against tobacco) teams at many of our Clubs throughout the city, and the news about CVS made many of these SWAT members hopeful for a healthier tomorrow.

At the Boettcher Club tonight, members wrote thank you cards and letters. One teen even performed a short rap thanking CVS for their admirable decision to stop selling tobacco products.
