Advocacy for a Healthy Colorado seeks executive director

The Colorado Health Foundation launched Advocacy for a Healthy Colorado to partner with individuals, communities, and organizations working to advance policies to make Colorado a healthier state. As a 501(c)(4) organization, AHC has unique capabilities to add strength to Colorado’s field of health advocates. AHC develops strength and expertise in grassroots organizing and grassroots lobbying to activate Coloradans to be advocates for better health policies at the local and state level. AHC does not engage in partisan political activities.

AHC seeks an executive director to lead its efforts. The Executive Director acts as the chief executive officer of Advocacy for a Healthy Colorado (AHC) and is responsible for the leadership and management of the organization. The Executive Director is appointed by and is accountable to the Board of Directors and directs an annual budget of $500,000 - $750,000.

AHC's first executive director will have the unique opportunity to launch this new organization effectively, building the infrastructure, staff, volunteer resources, partnerships and policy positions to bring AHC to life.

Qualified candidates are urged to apply for this leadership role by sending a cover letter, resume, and salary requirements via email to Carolyn McCormick of Peak HR Consulting, LLC. To learn more, go to Advocacy for a Healthy Colorado.
