State Health recruiting for Tobacco Communications Specialist

The Prevention Services Division at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is hiring a Tobacco Communications Specialist - GP III.  This position is is open to all Colorado residents until Nov. 18 or until an adequate pool has been identified.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early.

The Tobacco Communications Specialist works collaboratively with the communications and tobacco teams to develop, implement and coordinate paid, earned and social communications for the State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP). In the position, you will manage and execute statewide tobacco communications in alignment with best practices and the Tobacco Strategic Plan. You will also manage contracts with media and marketing organizations; provide technical assistance, support and training to local grantees; and manage communication about the grant program using a weekly newsletter, social media and a fulfillment center. You will represent and present the program strategy and initiatives externally through marketing organization participation.
