Colorado Coalition for Healthy Schools Meeting- 
December 6


What: Join the Coalition to receive an update on the "State of the State: Colorado's Physical Education/Activity Efforts"  and a participate in a session on how physical activity impacts learning. 

In the afternoon, we need your input to help shape Colorado’s innovative effort to develop a school health policy and practice data collection system, the new Colorado Healthy Schools Smart Source, and lend your insight on ground-level project design.  

When: Friday, December 6, 2013 - 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Where: Wheat Ridge Recreation Center - 4005 Kipling Street - Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

Meeting Agenda and Description: 

Morning (8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.):
Beverages and fresh fruit will be provided. Get an update from COAHPERD on the "State of the State: Colorado's Physical Education/Activity Efforts"  and a participate in a session on how physical activity impacts learning. Also, partners will be sharing resources and updates to promote quality physical activity in schools. 

Lunch (12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.): 
Lunch will be provided for all participants.

Afternoon (12:45 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.): 
The Colorado Legacy Foundation and Coalition partners need your input to help shape Colorado’s innovative effort to develop a school health policy and practice data collection system, the new Colorado Healthy Schools Smart Source, and lend your insight on ground-level project design.  For more information on the new Healthy Schools Smart Source, please click here.
