Colorado Primary Care Office Releases Safety Net Primer

The staff of the Primary Care Office (PCO) is pleased to announce the availability of the Colorado Safety Net Primer: A Resource for CDPHE Divisions, Branches, Programs and Work Units. The purpose of this online resource is to:
  • Provide an overview of the Colorado safety net, including clinic types, rules, regulations, services, locations and contact information.
  • Describe the functions, responsibilities and core programs of the state PCO.
  • Create new partnerships with other CDPHE programs on shared objectives for safety net clinics.
  • Enable opportunities for resource and information sharing between CDPHE divisions, programs, work units and the Colorado safety net.
Please note that clinic information is collected from partner’s existing online resources therefore, the Safety Net Primer will be updated on a quarterly basis to reflect current and existing clinic locations and contact information.
