The Colorado Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is featured in the current edition of the Hunger Free Colorado blog and newsletter. The article highlights WIC's Farm to Family pilot project, changes to WIC that make the program easier to use and the continued increase in Colorado's breastfeeding rates as a result of WIC education. Read the Hunger Free Colorado article or see more in the Hunger Free Colorado blog.

WIC provides nutritious foods, nutrition education and breastfeeding support, along with health and social services referrals to low-income pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women, and infants and children up to five years of age.
