Leadership Practicum Offered in August

The Regional Prevention Services Project is hosting a Leadership Practicum Aug. 13 and 14. Research on leadership consistently shows that the most effective leaders understand themselves thoroughly—particularly how they impact those around them. Influential leaders are candid about who they are, what they want and how to utilize their strengths and weaknesses for the greatest contribution. Effective self-direction and awareness are essential leadership capabilities.

This practicum will guide you on a leadership development journey. Among other things, this involves identifying existing strengths, skills and abilities. The process works to bring out aspects that demonstrate leadership as well as provide a way to prioritize areas for change and improvement.
