The eight organizations selected to receive a portion of the awarded funding include Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council, Early Childhood Council of La Plata County, Denver Early Childhood Council, Early Childhood Council of Larimer County, Mesa County Partnership for Children and Families, Early Childhood Partnership of Adams County, Montelores Early Childhood Council and Rural Resort Northeast Early Childhood Council. 
The Colorado Trust's partners with organizations, communities and individuals throughout the state to ensure every child has a chance to start his or her life with a healthy beginning. 
"Connecting families to services in local communities is critical," said president and CEO of The Colorado Trust Ned Calonge. "The councils can help to make sure families know where to turn for health care services; connecting people at school, work and home."
Organizations that are looking to raise funds through grant opportunities or local campaigns can use nonprofit financial management solutions to improve their chances of success. The software can help program leaders identify potential donors and send out applications with accurate accounting information.
