TEDMED Prevention Webinar Offered

TEDMED 20 Greatest Challenges is hosting a live webinar, "Making Prevention Popular and Profitable,"  at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan 17 (MST). TEDMED is a multi-disciplinary community of innovators and leaders who share a common determination to create a better future in health and medicine.
The upcoming webinar features an informal, moderated discussion with multi-disciplinary thought leaders who will share their views and respond to your questions on Making Prevention Popular. America spends $2 trillion a year on healthcare — mostly treating people after they become sick. How can we unlock prevention as a trillion-dollar business in America so we spend less on “sick care” and get Americans to “buy” healthy lifestyles? Add your perspective, ask questions and comment in real-time.
HOW: Watch the live video chat on and weigh in by submitting your questions on Twitter, hashtag  #GreatChallenges. You can also view the event the TEDMED Google + page.
Participants include John Clymer, Virginia A. Moyer, MD, MPH, David Roddenberry, John Spencer Ellis, Naz Sykes and Benjamin Young.
