JOB POSTING: School-Based Health Center Improvement Project (SHCIP) Quality Improvement Specialist

JOB POSTING from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment:
This GP III position is term-limited with Funding ending in  February of 2015.  This position is open competitive.  This position closes on October 31, 2012.

This SHCIP Quality Improvement Specialist is responsible for co-developing and co-implementing quality improvement activities with ten school-based health centers (SBHCs) in Colorado, with a goal of improving the quality of care provided to youth by SBHCs. This position will provide technical assistance, training, and support to interdisciplinary SBHC teams to help them implement best practice guidelines and to utilize data to inform continuous quality improvement. This position works in partnership with a multi-state project team to support the overall implementation of SHCIP and is responsible for specific grant deliverables related to quality improvement and the integration of school-based health centers into the medical home approach.
