LiveWell Colorado Hiring a Vice President of Development

LiveWell Colorado is hiring a Vice President of Development.  The Vice President will develop, structure, organize, execute and lead LiveWell Colorado’s overall fund development efforts for individual, corporate, and foundation major and annual giving campaigns, as well as solicit corporate support. The Vice President will also identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major, individual, foundation and corporate donors, as well as, provide primary support for the Development Committee, generate corporate sponsor leads for special events, and assist with volunteer development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as member of senior leadership team, helping to create and maintain a values-based, high performing culture, and providing advice and counsel
  • Contribute to organization-wide strategic discussions, issues, and decision-making;oversee department budgets
  • Provide leadership and direction to achieve overall LiveWell Colorado annual and campaign objective sand goals
  • Provide strong vision, strategic direction and coordination to achieve a high level of sophistication for LiveWell Colorado fundraising efforts
  • Lead implementation of fund development work plan and budget
  • Lead the development, implementation and integration of major gifts campaign, annual giving campaign, foundation and corporate giving; set goals and objectives, and execute an implementation and evaluation plan
  • Develop, measure and report on performance metrics
  • Identify, solicit and steward a portfolio of potential individual, foundation and corporate prospects
  • Support the president and chief executive officer to cultivate and steward major donors
  • Staff the fund development committee of the board of directors, in collaboration with president & CEO
  • Support the vice president of marketing and community relations director in cultivating and securing corporate and special event sponsorships
  • Coordinate with the vice president of marketing and director of community relations in developing volunteer recruitment, involvement and philanthropy
  • Coordinate with the vice president of marketing and director of communications in developing fundraising collateral pieces and Web pages
  • Articulate the mission and goals of LiveWell Colorado through presentations and written promotional material
  • Plan and coordinate revenue and expense objectives and review collections with chief financial officer
