APHA Health Reform Website Update

If you hadn't seen it, the American Public Health Association (APHA) recently overhauled their health reform website.  The site now centralizes a wealth of resources and insights on the Affordable Care Act (ACA), including:
  • ACA basics reviews the fundamentals and links to more information about Medicaid expansion, insurance exchanges and the minimum coverage provision (“individual mandate”).
  • ACA implementation contains an easy-reference ACA implementation timeline, the federal rule-making process and state implementation progress.
  • Prevention and Public Health Fund supplies the facts about the ACA’s major prevention funding program as well as research on the importance of prevention funding.
  • Supreme Court decision breaks down the complex ruling and answers questions about its potential implications.
Of course, the site also contains some valuable ACA advocacy reviews which address APHA actions to protect and promote the Affordable Care Act.  Well worth a look!
