PSD's Children and Youth Branch Hiring a Branch Ops Unit Manager

The Prevention Services Division's Children and Youth Branch of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is hiring a Branch Operations Unit Manager.  The Unit Manager will provide administrative, communications and operational support for all programs and initiatives housed in the Children and Youth Branch. The position is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the Branch Operations Unit work plan that guides administrative processes and functions for the Children and Youth Branch. The position applies LEAN methodology to assure effective and efficient administrative operations for the branch.

The position supervises unit staff with duties that include: communicating clear expectations to employees around performance and professional conduct, monitoring completion and quality of work through regular review and feedback with the employee, assisting employees in identifying goals for professional growth. This position participates on the branch leadership team, in conjunction with the branch director and the other unit managers within the Children and Youth Branch, in order to guide the strategic direction of the branch.
