Drinking While Pregnant? Recent Reports Claim "No Adverse Effects"...

Prevention Services Division Director Chris Lindley cautions against reading too much into recent reports

If you hadn't seen it yet, Chris Lindley, with great insights from PSD's subject matter expert Linda Archer, wrote an opinion piece for the online project Health Policy Solutions titled "Any Alcohol During Pregnancy is a Risk."  The piece was in response to a slew of recent posts - including one from Women's Health.gov - which highlighted a recent Danish research article that suggested that low to moderate drinking in early pregnancy has no adverse effects on children aged five.
