Need feedback: Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Services Block Grant

The Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Services Block Grant is the primary source of federal funding for Colorado’s Maternal and Child Health Program that aims to optimize the health and well-being of all of Colorado’s mothers, children, adolescents, and families. Each year, all states and jurisdictions are required to submit an Application/Annual Report for federal funds for their Title V MCH Services Block Grant to the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Thank you to all CDPHE employees who helped prepare the FY2013 Application/Report. We are almost done!

Every year, we invite state and local public health professionals, as well as the general public, to provide feedback on the MCH Block Grant Application/Report. Comments are collected at stakeholder meetings throughout the year, and we also post a draft of the application/report online. If you are interested, please feel free to download and review. This year’s application/report is due July 16, 2012. To ensure adequate time for us to consider and incorporate your feedback, please provide comments, edits, and/or questions by 5pm on Tuesday, July 10, 2012.

The draft pdf is here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B32LK8Gr-3MZXzFRVVl5VEYzS00/edit
You may comment into the document or submit feedback via email to Risa Friedman at risa.friedman@state.co.us.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
