Colorado's Smart Meal Program Adopted in Wisconsin

Restaurants Make it Easier to Order Healthy Meals Across Wood County, Wisconsin.  Several restaurants are making it easier for customers to eat healthy, by labeling and promoting meals with the Smart Meal program.

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) created the Smart Meal program to help customers identify, and eating establishments promote healthy meal options. The Smart Meal seal clearly identifies menu items that meet the designated healthy guidelines.

This program highlights meals that are 700 calories or less, lower in fat, and include items such as whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. You can support these restaurants by ordering Smart Meals.
