May
is National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month.
Although we celebrate historically low teen birth rates, it's as important as ever to continue to raise awareness about this important issue. National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month, sponsored by Advocates for Youth, is observed every May to involve communities in promoting and supporting effective teen pregnancy prevention initiatives. This Planning Guidebook includes important data and information on planning and implementing NTPPM events, involving youth and reaching out to media.

This
year's National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, led by The National
Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, will be observed Wednesday,
May 2. Teens nationwide will be encouraged to visit StayTeen.org to participate in a number of online
activities, including a popular quiz, that deliver teen pregnancy prevention
messages and challenge teens to think carefully about what they might do
"in the moment." To see what is happening in your state on May 2,
check out this page on National Campaign's website and these resources from Healthy Teen Network:

Please
