Youth Partnership for Health Seeking Young People for Advisory Council

The Youth Partnership for Health is seeking Coloradans aged 13 to 19 years to serve as consultants on a statewide advisory council. The council began in 2000 and continues to provide recommendations to state and community partners working to positively impact the lives of Colorado youth.

Participation gives youth an opportunity to develop leadership skills, increase public health knowledge and engage in their communities. Consultants are paid $10 per hour and are reimbursed for transportation to meetings. The council meets one Saturday per month for five hours, most often in Denver. It gives young Coloradans a chance to have their voices heard on important community and statewide issues.

Apply HERE or contact Audra Bishop, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, at 303-691-4936 or audra.bishop@state.co.us.
