The Women’s Wellness Connection seeks to fill TWO vacancies on their Advisory Board

The Women’s Wellness Connection (WWC) Advisory Board is requesting applications to fill two board vacancies.  Applicants that possess one or more of the following qualifications will be strongly considered:

  • A member that can represent the Northeast counties of the state and/or local health departments
  • A representative from organizations such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure or the American Cancer Society
  • A consumer of the program in the community, potentially a cancer survivor
  • A representative from the Accountable Care Collaboratives, health care exchange programs, Medicare, Medicaid or the Colorado Prevention Council

Board member applications are evaluated by current board members and applicants will be notified of the board’s decision by April 10, 2012.  Newly selected board members will serve three-year terms.  The WWC Advisory Board meets quarterly for four hours each meeting.  The next meeting is scheduled the afternoon of April 19, 2012.  Transportation and travel costs are reimbursed as required.
