What the Health...Equity?

Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) is about achieving health equity, by addressing the Social Determinants of Health, so that no one is disadvantaged from achieving their full potential because of socially determined circumstances.

This presentation provides an excellent overview of Social Determinants of Health (SDoH). It can be used to increase awareness about health equity with staff, community partners, and the public.

The information packet can stand alone and can be shared with the training presentation. This packet provides an overview of SDoH, defines the framework, discusses the role of public health, the importance of policy, and shares resources.

Integrating SDoH in to our every day work is an essential component to achieving health equity. This document provides supervisors and staff with ideas and suggestions of how to include SDoH in to existing work.

RFA/RFP Guidance
This document provides suggestions to multiple audiences for suggested language, program activities and scoring criteria to include an emphasis on SDoH in RFA/RFP processes.
