Tobacco Review Committee - Strategic Plan Webinar(s)

The Tobacco Review Committee has been working to update the tobacco control strategic plan, which is the guiding document for making funding decisions for the Amendment 35 dollars. At last month's Review Committee meeting, the draft plan was discussed for the first time. The next step is to share this draft with stakeholders and partners, and to solicit input and feedback for inclusion in the final plan. CDPHE will be conducting webinars in December and January. Please join us for the webinar that works best with your schedule:

Dec. 21, 9-11
Jan. 5, 9-11
Jan. 17, 9-11

These webinars will be open to all who are interested in providing input and feedback on the new plan, so please forward as appropriate. Please contact me directly with any questions or concerns.

To join the webinar at the time/day of your choice listed above, click on the following link:

You will be able to give us feedback during the webinar via a chat function and, if you choose, you can also email feedback directly to me following the webinar. This software we are using to host the video/audio is free and under evaluation for wider use by PSD.  What it means to you is that we'll all have to watch a 30 second commercial when you click the link. Other commercials may stream during the webinar, but you'll be able to close those out.

If you're unable to participate in any of these scheduled times, we'll post the video and you'll be able to watch it and provide feedback at that time.

We look forward to sharing this with you and hearing from you your ideas, feedback, thoughts, input, etc. as we take this important step in focusing our tobacco control and prevention work for the next several years.

Also, please let others know about the new tobacco collaborative google group. Anyone can join, just click on this link - http://www.coprevent.org/p/prevention-priorities.html - scroll down to the tobacco priority, enter your email and click subscribe. Also, feel free to join any of the groups that are listed on this page.
