Hungry For Change?

More than 900,000 people in Colorado struggle to put food on their tables; yet the issue of hunger is often silent and invisible. Hunger Free Colorado is gathering 10,000 plates with personal notes, messages and signatures to help put a face to hunger in Colorado. Plates collected from across the state will be unveiled in the spring of 2012 as a unified voice to help end hunger in Colorado.

You can help be a part of the solution. Participate in the Hungry for Change campaign by setting up space for staff and/or the public to decorate and display plates. Contact Rita McCusker to receive a tool kit complete with English and Spanish plates, campaign information and a return envelope to send your decorated plates back to Hunger Free Colorado.

Visit the Hungry for Change campaign website for more information and to decorate a virtual plate.
