Secondhand Smoke Exposure and the ONE Step Quality Improvement Initiative to Address Caregiver Cessation

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Children's Hospital Colorado invite you to this Pediatric Challenges presentation. Panelists include Jill Bednarek, CDPHE Secondhand Smoke Coordinator, Emma Goforth, CDPHE Colorado QuitLine Coordinator and David Tinkelman, CU Pediatrics Professor. Panelists will discuss the importance of addressing caregivers' secondhand smoke, describe the ONE Step Quality Improvement Initiative, describe QuitLine operations and present evidence-based methods to identify secondhand smoke in outpatient and inpatient settings.
