NACCHO Model Practice Submissions Now Open!

The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) maintains a robust database of model practices to provide local public health agencies with an opportunity to highlight their programs and glean insights from their local public health colleagues on best practices, programs and efforts.

The 2012 Model Practice Database submission window is now "open".  By submitting a practice, local health departments contribute to the overall improvement of public health through evidence-based practice methods.      
  
FIVE REASONS TO APPLY 
  • Be recognized for your local health department's success and for leading by example.
  • Earn local and national recognition through press release templates and a spotlight in the 2012 fall issue of NACCHO Exchange.
  • Receive a listing in NACCHO's online Model Practices Database.
  • Receive a coveted award and public honors and showcase a poster of your practice at the Model Practices Reception during the 2012 NACCHO Annual Conference in Los Angeles July 11-13, 2012.
  • Be eligible to receive a stipend to attend the 2012 NACCHO Annual conference
