More than 7,000 people responded to the National Walking Survey, an online survey conducted by America Walks. Survey results yielded some unexpected information, especially regarding the importance people place on health outcomes in some segments of the walking population. Equally interesting is what was learned about the role of health professionals in recommending walking.

During the webinar, Scott Bricker, America Walks executive director, and Susan Polan, APHA associate executive director, will elaborate on the implications of these findings for advancing walking and health-related policies and programs.  If you have questions about the webinar, contact Scott Bricker at sbricker@americawalks.org or Eloisa Raynault at eloisa.raynault@apha.org.
